Quite honestly, I don't give trolls a second thought these days. I don't respond to them at all anymore -- even if they say something positive from time to time.
Don't respond to them. Don't talk to them. Don't even talk about them. Either they go away or they don't.

You should take your own advice.
You have responded by stating you won't respond.
You have given the subject at hand not only a second thought, but many more.
The psychology of internet forum interactions is fascinating.
Labeling a statement you don't agree with as "trolling" is the response of a petulant child who is trying to enhance their feeling of negative self-worth.
I could expand a great deal on the subject but I'm pressed for time at the moment.
Perhaps you need to get away from your computer for awhile.
You really need to get out more.
